Building exterior

The hospital's floor plan was designed by nationally recognized veterinary specialist architect Mark Schimdt AIA. Local architect Michael McCall AIA grew up in the Clintonville/Beechwold area and chose the stone and cedar exterior to complement the old charm of the area.

Diagnostic laboratory

Beechwold Veterinary Hospital maintains our own in-house laboratory for tests such as complete blood counts, full profiles, urinalysis, fecal exams, fungal cultures among others. We also send specialized tests to outside labs when indicated.

Exam room

Seven exam rooms allows for more efficent client flow. A central vacuum system and stainless steel tables helps make for an easier clean up.

Feline only ward

Cats can enjoy a quieter environment without the barking of dogs with their own private feline's only ward.

Intensive care area

Our ICU allows for our most ill patients to be oberserved directly from our treatment hub. Oxygen cages, nebulizers, and IV infusions pumps are among the equipment utilized in this area.

Kennel

Our ten indoor runs complement our two canine only wards. Beechwold does offer a limited boarding for our patients only. Special need boarders such as diabetics and geriatric pets are welcome.

Lobby

Lobby with park mural

A kids area in the corner complete with a playstation should help keep impatient kids a little happier. Local artist Steve Prescott painted our park them mural depicting our staff's pets enjoying a day at the park. Sound panels help dampen the noise of rowdier patients. A more secluded private waiting area is located behind the mural and display wall.

Radiology

Surgery room

Our dual surgery suite is complete with state of the art anesthetic monitoring equipment and staffed by certified veterinary technicans to assit our veterinary surgeons. Our hospital meets all standards to achieve accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association.

Treatment room

An incubator seen in this photo is frequently used for newborn puppies delivered by caesarean section.

Ultrasound

Ultrasonography is a great tool for diagnosing many illnesses and obtaining biopsies of internal organs.
